Dr. Maria Ennamorati is a residency-trained optometrist who joined Midcoast Eyecare in 2023. She provides comprehensive and medical eye exams to adult and pediatric patients, including the fitting of soft contact lenses.

Dr. Ennamorati is a native Mainer and grew up in Waldoboro. After graduating as salutatorian of her class from Medomak Valley High School, she attended Colby College where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in neurobiology and chemistry. After college, she spent two years researching immune system development at Massachusetts General Hospital where she co-authored three publications. Dr. Ennamorati went on to earn her optometry degree at the New England College of Optometry in Boston in 2023 where she earned the NECO Clinic Award. After graduation, she completed her residency in ocular disease at the Maine Veterans Affairs Healthcare System. Her residency provided her with extensive training in the diagnosis and management of ocular diseases including glaucoma, age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, cataracts, and numerous other retinal and corneal disorders.

Dr. Ennamorati is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Maine Optometric Association. She is currently accepting new adult and pediatric patients at our Rockport and Damariscotta locations.
